COLLIERY HEATHER
Whole black foaled 2006, sire Stricklands Jim, dam Colliery Cath bought from Dennis Urwin as a 2year old.
Lucky Heather, as she is known is a very kind gentle pony, she even separates her food when eating pushing the apple to the side, or out of her bowl to savour it last of all.
This year Heather produced a most beautiful black filly foal for us, she even foaled at 2.30pm a very respectable hour for her first foal and she has been a brilliant Mother.
Heather is full sister to one of our other ponies and has exactly the same temperament.

COLLIERY DELIGHT
Whole black foaled 2002 sire Stricklands Jim, dam Colliery Cath full sister to Heather. This was the first Colliery pony we bought, Delight was 4 yrs old when I first saw her in a field in Durham and I fell in love with her. Delight by name and a delight to own as she has a most beautiful temperament. She had a stunning colt in 2007.

COLLIERY PEARL
Black with a star foaled 2007, sire Colliery Commando, dam Colliery Beauty bought from Dennis Urwin as a 2year old.
Pearl was already spoken for and I wanted a filly sired by Colliery Commando so very much, having lost one the previous year. Then one day out of the blue we had a phone call to say Pearl was for sale, well I just had to have her and a few days later the lovely pearl was here. I will never regret that decision because Pearl is a most loving pony and she has recently even managed to persuade our stallion Duke to share his bowl of food with her.

CASTLEDALES BOUDICEA
Black with a star foaled April 2010, sire Westwick Duke, dam Colliery Heather.
A first foal for Heather and she has done us proud. Bouda as she is known arrived at 2.30pm and I was with Heather when she foaled.
Bouda was for sale but every time I went out with the camera to take photos for someone I came back home without photos and determined to keep her.
Bouda has grown well and is now a yearling, she looks so much like her dam Colliery Heather and has a lovely temperament.
